Azadeh Ossareh

Founder & Registered Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Azadeh, a Registered Psychotherapist and the founder of Holistia Wellness in Midtown Toronto.

For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-doubt, perfectionism, and periods of feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves.

My approach to psychotherapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy can be a space not only to better understand what you’re experiencing, but also to recognize patterns that may be holding you back and develop meaningful ways to move forward. Together, we explore the beliefs, relationships, and life experiences that may be shaping how you feel, while building practical tools and coping strategies to help you navigate challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and resilience.

Many of the people I work with are capable, thoughtful, and accustomed to managing a lot on their own. On the outside, life may appear to be going well, while internally they may be struggling with overthinking, anxiety, self-criticism, people-pleasing, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, or the pressure to hold everything together. Others come to therapy while navigating a significant transition, changes in relationships, career, parenthood, identity, immigration, loss, or simply a sense that something in their life needs to change.

Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to provide a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and explore your experiences without judgment. Therapy looks different for everyone, and I tailor our work to your individual needs, goals, personality, and life experiences rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I offer psychotherapy in English and Farsi, with in-person therapy in Midtown Toronto as well as online therapy for clients who prefer the flexibility of virtual sessions.

Over the years, my work as a psychotherapist has also shaped how I think about well-being more broadly. I’ve come to believe that our mental, emotional, and physical health are deeply interconnected, and that we cannot always understand how someone is feeling by looking at one symptom or one part of their life in isolation.

That belief inspired me to create Holistia Wellness, a collaborative wellness space where psychotherapy exists alongside other areas of care, including naturopathic medicine, nutrition counselling, massage therapy, and other wellness services. My vision was to create a place where people can feel supported as a whole person, with thoughtful care that recognizes the many different factors that contribute to how we feel.

Whether you come to Holistia specifically for therapy or connect with our broader circle of care, I want you to feel supported, understood, and empowered to create meaningful and lasting change. I believe some of the most important work in therapy happens when we feel safe enough to understand ourselves more deeply, challenge what is no longer serving us, and begin making choices that feel more aligned with the life we want to live.
