Fiana (Farnaz)
Registered Social Worker
If you’re considering change in any area of your life, you’ve already taken a meaningful first step. Reaching out for support takes courage, and it’s an honour to walk alongside you in that process.
Our work together is rooted in cultivating deeper self-awareness and self-compassion. Growth is rarely linear—when you are actively engaged in your life, a full spectrum of emotions and experiences will naturally arise. Together, we’ll create space to move through these moments with intention, while strengthening your capacity to find steadiness and support from within.
My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, emotion-focused therapy, the Gottman Method for couples, and solution-focused therapy.
I support individuals and couples navigating anxiety, mood-related challenges, relationships, life transitions, grief, phobias, and post-immigration experiences. I am deeply committed to practicing through an anti-oppressive and anti-racist lens, creating a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported.
At the heart of my work is the belief that you are the author of your own life. Therapy is a collaborative process—one where you are actively engaged, and where we approach your inner world with curiosity and care. My hope is that through our work, you feel more connected to yourself and empowered to move toward a life that feels aligned and meaningful.
As a registered social worker, I also support clients in accessing community resources and services, including housing, settlement support, and employment services, helping you feel supported both within and beyond the therapy space.
